Hi, I'm new to Smash Bros and trying to learn doing this. After doing the grab, when I go towards the opponent to start the A-attacks, Steve will sometimes just decide to use the pickaxe instead, even though I never left the ground. Does anyone know why this happens?

Sephiroth is mid tier overall. If you are comparing characters that know the mechs of the game, his defense is easily bypassed. Low hp is not something you play around with in competitive gaming. Low hp combined with relative slowness exposing openings is awful.

As a recent grad of computer science, you're really not missing much by not going to school. They don't really teach you much or set you up for success, so you end up having to do the hard leg work that non grads do anyway, so you really saved yourself a hassle tbh..
